Today, Florida Gators’ Urban Meyer is holding a Press Conference scheduled for 4.30 p.m. EST. 45-year-old Urban Meyer III is believed to announce a leave of absence instead of resignation over health issues. Steve Adazzio’s name is being quoted as interim head coach till the return of Urban Meyer.
However, the University of Florida’s football team coach hasn’t made any mention of a certain date to make a comeback and rejoin the Florida Gators. It is eagerly awaited whatever Meyer says today in New Orleans to dispel the rumors and what would be his explanation about whatever has already been said about him since his last night press conference. Are the health issues that serious to have forced him leaving his position permanently or as speculated; he’s being stepped down temporarily for an indefinitely and uncertain timeframe.
The press conference in question will provide the fans and viewers an opportunity to learn the actual cause(s) behind the resignation story of a head coach that enabled the Florida Gators to grab two of the BCS National Championships in the years 2006 and 2008, respectively. A YouTube video footage of his Dec. 21st press conference is attached here for the convenience of the readers wherein; Urban Meyer is describing his resignation.
Various reports from many reliable sources claim that the teammates at Florida Gators have already been informed their loved-by-all coach will come back though no timeframe could be given.
