Steven Victor Tallarico, fell from the stage and injured his leg, here at Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in western South Dakota Wednesday Aug. 5, 2009. He was airlifted to a Rapid City Regional Hospital for treatment. Steven Tyler is the front man of ‘Aerosmith’ and the crowd watching it all live as well as thousands of fans at home, were disappointed though still they were happy to hear at least he was OK. Some reports say Tyler suffered minor head and neck injuries and a shoulder injury as well.

Steven Victor Tallarico was born on March 26, 1948 in Yonkers, New York. He is commonly known as Steven Tyler. The American musician is a songwriter as well. His actual reputation is as a lead singer, a lyricist of Boston-Based Aerosmith. He is a singer too. He is master at Piano, Harmonica, Vocals, Percussion, Drums, Guitar, Bass, Mandolin, Violin, Flute Mellotron, Hammered dulcimer, Saxophone and Trumpet.

People must have not forgotten him for his habit of drugs & alcohol in the 1970s and 1980s. He was forced to undergo the drug rehabilitation in 1986. The colorful hand scarves hanging from his microphone have become his identity since long. As per media resource reports, He was recently named 99th on Rolling Stone’s 100 greatest singers. He is also ranked 3rd on Hit Parade’s Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time.

“Love in an Elevator” was the song being performed by the band when 61-years-old Steven Victor Tallarico fell of the stage on Wednesday 5th August. He was keeping the crowd busy as the sound system went out order, when he fell backwards on few fans but got up early. Still he received injuries and after being attended by a physician available there, he was taken to the hospital through a helicopter. The wonderful evening was spoiled.
