A face change brings Sammy Sosa back in the headlines even after his retirement. 41-year-old Samuel Peralta Sosa appeared with a totally new face, people considered was attributed to some skin disease. However, the former MLB player denies any skin disease or using steroids.

A few days back people were engaged talking about a former Major League Baseball right fielder and discussing his new face fervently. The moment he appeared at the Latin Grammy Awards alongside his lovely wife Sonia, people were stunned to see him as the Sammy Sosa they knew was supposed to be a Blackman. Whereas, the ‘Sammy’ they met that day was not black anymore; he had a totally new face and a completely new white complexion.

Many commented that Sammy Sosa, who had the reputation of using steroids even in the past, must have renewed the old habit. The second opinion was that he sure had done some experiment such as the skin-bleach treatment but ended up with pigmented skin.

However, on Sunday the story took another twist and finally some authentic and expert opinion has come through Rebecca Polihronis an ex-employee from Cubs Community relations. Speaking on behalf of Sosa, Rebecca briefed that since he’s going through a skin-rejuvenation process, he used to apply a face (skin) cream in order to soften and smoothen it. The constant use of that particular cream thus resulted in change of color and it may change again, added Rebecca.

Now let’s see how long it takes for the 41-year-old to regain his original ‘characteristics’ or in other words; how long he may enjoy a white man’s life and wear green contact lenses that may be a mismatch if he’s black again.
