Overjoyed citizens of New Orleans have yet another big moment coming up, the Victory Parade by Saints on Tuesday. The Super Bowl triumph celebrations continue and the victory parade has been scheduled to commence at 5 p.m. from Superdome and after long roundup, the same will finish at the Convention Center Boulevard.
Since it has been their first ever victory for the Saints in franchise history of Super Bowl, it is anticipated that the entire city would be enthusiastically participating in the event of victory parade. According toe the schedule, the marching Saints would start their triumphant run from the Superdome (Poydras) and moving through the streets of LaSalle, Loyola and Howard the Saints would reach Lee Circle.
From there, the procession would head to St. Charles Avenue and through the Canal Street, the grand run will be observed gathering at Convention Center Boulevard from where, the participants would disperse. Anticipating a huge turnover, Marlon Defillo the city Deputy Chief urged the people to reach the parade routes well in time should they wish to grab perfect seats to watch the historic event.
Meanwhile, in three various unpleasant incidents, one male and two females have been reported injured following gunshots while at French Quarter. Only hours left before the victory parade, the police reports confirm there were three various firing incidents involving a male of around 25 years of age and two 30-plus women. Coincidently, all the victims received bullet on legs; the male was hit at ankle whereas the females ended up with injured legs.
Luckily enough, all three victims required nominal medical attention and were released shortly.
