Yet another night of glamour at Hollywood at SAG Awards 2010 ceremony in Los Angeles was observed by millions of viewers. The Saturday night belonged to Golden Globe trophies winners Sandra Bullock and Jeff Bridges as both the stars were awarded top acting honors.
“The Blind Side” of 45-year-old American actress seasoned campaigner Sandra Annette Bullock earned her respect at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Though she appeared in a very simple dress but certainly felt walking tall when honored with the “best actress” award. 60-year-old actor and musician Jeffrey Leon “Jeff” Bridges also grabbed “best actor” award for his ‘Crazy Heart.’
Within a span of one week, both the American actors went on to win the awards following their precious trophies they were awarded at the Golden Globes. However, while on the backstage Sandra Bullock turned down the questions about her chances in upcoming Oscars in the month of March this year and kept silent on the issue.
Both Jeffery Bridges and Sandra Bullock must have got surprised on their success since they considered them way behind in the race. For instance, Sandra who was awarded for her role of ‘Leigh Anne Tuohy,’ stated she could be anything but a good enough actress. Bridges on the other hand, has many times been ignored in the past too.
The list of winners also included Christoph Waltz for “Inglourious Basterds,” the abusive mother Mo’Nique for “Precious,” 88-year-old Betty White (honored with Life Achievement Award) while in the television categories, “Mad Men” and “Glee” were also among the winners.
