Hoboken Mayor 32-year-old Peter Cammarano has been arrested following a public corruption investigation by U.S. authorities. At least 44 people have been reportedly arrested by the FBI including ‘Secaucus Mayor 64-year-old Dennis Elwell,’ ‘State Assemblyman 44-year-old Daniel Van Pelt,’ ‘Ridgefield Mayor 42-year-old Anthony Suarez’ and ‘Jersey City Council President 59-year-old Mariano Vega Jr.’
The report of arresting almost 30 people has been confirmed by Michael Drewniak, the spokesman of United States Attorney ‘Ralph Marra.’ All the people arrested today morning by FBI as a part of money- laundering investigation, have been decided to make appearance in Newark, New Jersey’s federal court.
A number of people have been suspected for corruption within last one year all across the U.S., but this time the count of suspects has reached recordable. And it is expected that the arrests will be continued across Jersey City, Secaucus and all across the U.S. until all the suspects being captured.
Justice department and FBI spokesmen will comment on the details later. While a press conference will be held later today.
