Patricia Vonne rules again with her third release “Firebird” which is full of purpose by the San Antonio singer. She believes she is a born singer and she moved to New York City in from Texas with high aims and ambitions to highlight her born artistic abilities and instinct.
She has worked her way very hard and in her journey to a star singer that she is now, she tried her luck all over Europe and America. Her first mediums were small commercials both national and international. Then she tried film line. From 1980 till 2001 she used to perform NY Circuit, her own musical band.
She has toured with the band ‘Tito and Tarantula’ that appeared in “From Dusk Till Dawn” movie. “Traeme Paz” is Patricia’s own song which was played in the movie named “Once Upon a Time in Mexico”.
Patricia Vonne’s remarkable third release “Firebird” cements the bilingual song stress’s ability to deliver a perfect balance of Tex-Mex and roots-rock with strength, purpose and femininity. Vonne’s excellent songwriting has a flare for romance, drama and fantasy, even while chronicling the ups and downs of everyday life.
“Firebird” has the services of Patricia’s husband Robert LaRoche a great deal. He is also her musical partner since long. He is the co-writer of 5 out of 10 sizzling tunes of the album. The couple presented a duet “Battle Scars” along with Rick Del Castillo, Michael Hardwick, Steven Medina Hufsteter, Tito Larriva, David Perales, Michael Ramos, Joe Reyes, Scott Garber, Dony Wynn, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Carl Thiel, as musicians.
“Missing Women” the opening song has a background. Its all about a tribute to the women of Juarez, Mexico who were murdered by some serial killer(s) during 1990’s. Patricia did a lot of research there in Juarez prior to this video. Similarly, almost all songs of the video in some way or the other are related to personal life of Patricia. “Hot Rod Heart”, “La Huerta de San Vincente” or “Karolina” for example, are all tribute songs from her childhood hero to kids in hospitals.
