An American actress, Patricia Mauceri has been fired of her ‘Carlotta Vega’ role on the ABC soap opera, ‘One Life to Live.’ Patricia Mauceri was playing this role since 1995, but has been shown the door and decided to be replaced by another lady Saundra Santiago who has appeared on ‘One Life to Live’ in a short-term role previously just after leaving ‘Guiding Light.’

Reports say, Patricia Mauceri found that the ‘Carlotta Vega’ role was turning into a small gay friendly Latina mother, which gone against her personal beliefs. She allegedly protested against the changing of role in such a minor way, but as a result, she was shown the door.

Patricia Mauceri who was born April 7, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York, also appeared in some films like ‘Saving Grace’ in 1985 and ‘Die Hard: With a Vengeance’ in 1995. Including TV appearances, she is also known to be appeared in the TV series ‘Another World’ in 1977, played a role as ‘Angie Perrini Frame.’
