A human skeleton found at a farm is believed to be the body of Morgan Harrington, the 20-year-old student from Virginia Tech. in 2009 in the month of October, Morgan Harrington mysteriously disappeared while at a Metallica band concert and was never seen again. The farm is located in southern Albemarle County.
Either an old mystery has been solved to some extent or a new case of another cold-blooded murder has come into the notice of Virginia Police Department since a human body has been discovered by a farmer. According to the details, while checking the fences, the farmer felt he’s got company; there were remains of a human body dumped there.
The matter was immediately brought into the notice of local police by the farmer and upon reaching at the scene the first though that came in mind for the police officials whether it was the body of a missing female student that was last seen alive by her friends on October 17, 2009. However, if this is not the case, the police have a new task at their hands; launch another investigation to find out whose body is this!
Dan and Gil Harrington, the parents of the missing girl finally seem to have got a reason for their hopes to die to see their daughter alive ever again. Despite frantic search operations by dozens of college fellows and police officials, no clue whatsoever could ever be found regarding Morgan until today when in a kind unpopulated farm the remains found and both the police and her parents strongly believe the same could be of Morgan.
Prior to this, the police never checked this particular 742 acre farm which is some 10 miles from the place Morgan was last seen at the concert. Though didn’t wish to believe yet the parents feared a foul play involved since their daughter never returned home for over three months and now the things seem to clear shortly.
There were rewards for the informer if any, both by the family and even Metallica band that would earn him (them) reward money of $150,000 collectively. However, reportedly yet the police hasn’t indicated a link between the body and the missing girl since it may well be some other unfortunate victim.
