She is 5-foot-4, 22 years old and now Miss America 2010. The winner of Miss America Pageant 2010 is Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron who outlasted 53 competitors and went on to win the crown. The 89th Miss America is from Fredericksburg, Virginia.
If Caressa Cameron was thrilled over fabulous achievement of lifetime, so was the famous American radio host Rush Hudson Limbaugh III. 59-year-old influential opinion leader Limbaugh danced in joy to make the occasion a bit more memorable for Cameron.
However, his dancing is also being criticized by many since he was among the judges and a hilarious act such as his dancing to ‘Poker Face’ of Lady Gaga amid his chest pain, is something serious to note. People were already talking a lot about his being chosen as Miss America Pageant judge and now he’s provided the critics with yet another chance.
Alongside the Miss America 2010 Crown, Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron receives a scholarship worth $50,000 since she managed to beat as many as 53 contestants from all parts of the country. All the judges were convinced that Cameron deserved to be a winner as she was impressive in every department such as swimsuit appearance, evening gown and talent.
In her final interview, Caressa Cameron looked more than confident and the judges unanimously declared her the winner. First runner-up with $25,000 prize was Miss California Kristy Cavinder. It was really nice to watch all the contestants from 50 states and other areas to come onstage and dance to Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling,” to start the proceedings.
