35-year-old Michelle Kehoe heard Sean’s voice accusing her of slashing his throat. Based on the recording the jury presented, Michelle Kehoe was charged with first degree murder and an attempted murder. Her husband Eugene Kehoe reported about his missing wife and two young sons in 2008.

The Buchanan Country Attorney Allan Vander Hart was convinced that all the allegations against the mother of two Michelle Kehoe from Iowa community prove her guilty of killing of her sons and leaving the other to death with a slashed throat. Therefore, Michelle has been charged with the first-degree murder of 2-year-old Seth Kehoe alongside the charges of an attempted murder as well as child endangerment involving her 7-year-old son Sean Kehoe.

According to the incidents on a Sunday night in 2008, Eugene Kehoe approached the police when he realized his wife Michelle and two sons Sean and Seth were not back home till late. The other day Michelle, who left from her Coralville home with two sons, was found though but alone and at a stranger’s home at Littleton along with an unbelievable mysterious story and a slashed throat.

She described to the police and her husband how she and the kids were abducted by some stranger and though she managed to escape but the kids’ life was in danger. Later it revealed that there never was any abduction involved rather the mother had acted upon a preplanned ‘project’ to get rid of the kids and the family.

According to the affidavits filed and represented by the prosecutors before the jury, Michelle did all the brutal things alone. Her 7-year-old son was discovered by the investigators locked in a car while his 2-year-old brother Seth lying dead besides, both with slaughtered throats. Sean the survivor, then explained his mother had halted the vain they were in Littleton premises, placed duct tape on his mouth and asked him to descend the vehicle.

Next thing he remembered was the feeling of being choked with severe pain as if his throat was cut with something very sharp. At the same time he heard his brother yelling for help and all he could see was his mother hitting the youngster. Then Michelle left the place considering both the boys were dead.

Later during the investigations Michelle confessed that she then slashed her own throat and walked up to the house where she was found. She remained in the hospital for severe injuries she has caused to her neck. She also indicated her plans that she made months ago before the incident and left a note about the abduction that police later found in the van. The knife she used was also discovered and presented in the court.

The jury heard it all along the accused mother what the police had recorded at the time they found the 7-year-old kid and there seems to be no escape for Michelle from this scenario now.
