On-screen lovers Micah Sloat and Katie Featherstone keep on impressing more and more viewers. Micah Sloat and Katie Featherstone have turned a low-budget movie ‘Paranormal Activity’ by Oren Peli into a huge success. By far, a Steven Spielberg project ‘Paranormal Activity’ has done over $30 million business.
These days in the movie circle, an 85-minute-horror drama ‘Paranormal Activity’ is being talked a lot. The movie is based on yet another haunted house theme but with each passing day, it’s earning a lot of attention and attracting more and more people who had long turned their backs on theaters, bored with formula-horror movies.
The movie is about a young couple comprising of Micah Sloat and Katie Featherstone living in the company of an uninvited demonic presence that makes their life increasingly disturbed until Micah Sloat ends up loosing his life despite his brave enough determination to save his girlfriend.
Relevantly new to silver screen, both Micah Sloat and Katie Featherstone have played their roles to perfection. A movie that has been filmed in an apartment owned by the Israeli director/writer Oren Peli in real life, has succeeded to generate long-forgotten abrupt and natural screams from the horrified audiences and the Paramount Pictures must be credited for their recent project that has somewhat logical yet an unexpected ending too. It has been learnt that Stephen Spielberg himself suggested the most appropriate ending from among a few more suggestions. The movie is categorized as US theatrical and it’s on the go since 25 Sep 2009.
Though there are no scary-faced monsters or gigantic supernatural characters in the movie trying to overwhelm the viewers more by their ‘size’ rather great sound effects and a series of highly unexpected events have made the Paranormal Activity a film worth watching.
