Mary-Louise Parker is a multiple award winning American actress who was born August 2, 1964 in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, United States. She is 5′ 8″ in height. She graduated from the ‘North Carolina School of the Arts’ and made her name in acting during her college years. ‘Prelude to a Kiss’ is remembered as her Broadway debut under production of Craig Lucas in the year 1990. She besides winning ‘Theatre World Award’ and ‘Clarence Derwent Award,’ also nominated for the ‘Tony Award’ from her debut.

Mary-Louise Parker acted in a number of films such as ‘Naked in New York’ in 1993, ‘Boys on the Side’ in 1995, ‘The Portrait of a Lady’ in 1996, ‘Goodbye Lover’ in 1998, ‘Pipe Dream’ in 2002, ‘The Best Thief in the World’ in 2004, ‘Romance & Cigarettes’ in 2006, ‘The Spiderwick Chronicles’ in 2008. While her television appearances includes ‘Ryan’s Hope’ in 1975, ‘A Place for Annie’ in 1994, ‘The Simple Life of Noah Dearborn’ in 1999, ‘Master Spy: The Robert Hanssen Story’ in 2002, ‘Vinegar Hill’ in 2005, ‘The Robber Bride’ in 2007. And the theater performances includes ‘Prelude to a Kiss’ in 1990, ‘Bus Stop’ in 1996, ‘Hedda Gabler’ in 2009.

Mary-Louise Parker nominated for 20 different awards out of which she won two ‘Golden Globe Awards’, one in 2004 as ‘Best Supporting Actress’ on appearing in a Television Series “Angels in America” and the other in 2006 as ‘Best Actress’ on appearing in a Television Series “Weeds.” She won an ‘Emmy Award’ as an ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress’ for “Angels in America” in the year 2004. She won a ‘Gemini Award’ as ‘Best Leading Actress’ on appearing in a Television Series “The Robber Bride” in the year 2007. She won a ‘Satellite Award’ as ‘Outstanding Actress’ on appearing in a Television Series “Weeds” in the year 2005.

Recently, Mary-Louise Parker bared the issue of an extended scene as showing her breasts for the role as ‘Nancy Botwin’ regarding her ‘Weeds’ performance. She quoted that, “She never thought to be naked, and the role was also not much demanding so, but the director made all of that.” She also said that she fought with the director for doing that bad as it was clear to be shown on Internet as “Mary-Louise shows off her big nipples.” She said that she was not responsible for that as she was goaded into it by the director.
