Bill Clinton’s daughter Chelsea Clinton engaged to Mark Mezvinsky, her longtime boyfriend. Chelsea is 29-year-old whereas Marc Mezvinsky is 31. According to an ABC News, the couple released the engagement news in a mass email last week on the Thanksgiving holiday. At present, the teenage friends live in New York.

A spokesman for 42nd President of the United States of America, William Jefferson “Bill” Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton, currently the United States Secretary of the State, confirmed on Monday that Chelsea has become engaged to her teenage friend Marc Mezvinsky.

Chelsea Victoria Clinton is the only child of the famous political figures of Bill and Hillary whereas her fiancé Marc Mezvinsky is the offspring of Marjorie Margolies and Edward Mezvinsky, Pennsylvania and Iowa Reps, respectively. Marc is 31-year-old and he is an investment banker with the business icon Goldman Sachs.

According to Matt McKenna Bill’s spokesman, the new couple disclosed the news of their engagement to their friends by sending them the e-mail messages on last Friday. According to ABC news, the mass email was delivered on the Thanksgiving holiday wherein the couple apologized to the friends for using the medium of a mass email. They wrote they wished two things; wish the friends belated Thanksgiving and to share the news of their engagement.

Many of the readers must be well aware that Hillary Clinton encountered a situation last summer wherein she was forced to snub the rumors about Chelsea and Mezvinsky getting married secretly. The rumors suggested that they had already got engaged and would be marrying at Martha’s Vineyard in the month of August.

To prove those past rumors wrong Chelsea and Marc mentioned it in their Friday mass email that they didn’t get married yet and that all the stories were false accusations. “Rather we are planning to marry in the upcoming summer next year,” the couple further added.
