This mug-shot appearing in Friday papers was not of some celebrity, he was a dangerous killer. Sgt. Jason Ellis the Broom County Sheriff Detective informed the media on February 6, 2010 that 52-year-old Pavone that turned up at the ‘Del Motel’ was the one that allegedly killed Patricia Howard, his girlfriend on 31 January. He was arrested on Friday.

According to the details, dozens of policemen encircled the Del Motel Friday morning and they stormed inside the premises which the owner of hotel Ashok Patel and the staff later realized, were in search of Anthony V. Pavone. And why they were looking for this 52-year-old calm and descent looking Anthony because he was accused of a serious crime; a double homicide.

Short wile before the police arrived; Anthony would be seen around the parking area of the hotel that was buried under the overnight snow. According to Ashok Patel, he noticed the man while checking in and at that moment, Anthony V. Pavone had asked him whether he could shovel the snow. However, he left the place since he wasn’t needed as a snowman.

Ashok wasn’t aware that Pavone a resident of Clinton County was staying at his hotel under the false identification since Tuesday and that he was on the loose, running away from the police. It took them nearly four hours for the police officials to finally arrest him though no violence was involved in the effort. David Harder the Sheriff of Broom County later informed that the police teams comprised of Johnson City and Endicott alongside state police.

Following the arrest, Sgt. Jason Ellis briefed that on 31st January, 2010 on a Sunday morning Pavone had brutally killed Patricia Howard along with her newly-found boyfriend Timothy Carter while at Canadian border of Dannemora. Later the killer was arraigned to Plattsburg Court of Clinton County on Friday from where; he was shifted to a Correctional Facility. It was also learned that Pavone literally cried while refusing lawyer services.
