28-year-old Edison Chen is reappearing in the film industry after a sex photo scandal that derailed his career more than a year ago. The Web site of Slew Pictures that is a New York-based production company has reported, Edison Chen will feature for the first time after his sex photo scandal in an English-language comedy “Almost Perfect.” In the movie Kelly Hu will be his co-star.

Formerly, Bertha Bay-Sa Pan made “Face,” a drama in the year 2002 starring Bai Ling. The director of the movie “Almost Perfect” is Bertha Bay-Sa Pan who is the founder of Slew Pictures. The outline of the movie describes the efforts made by an Asian woman to fulfill the needs of her new boyfriend and the family.

However, the date of releasing the movie has not been mentioned yet. Several sources approached to get the details regarding movie’s release date but Slew Pictures’ publicists haven’t responded to any of the e-mails sent. While Chen’s managers also haven’t attended the calls.

The photos that were leaked all over the Internet more than a year ago, were a combination of his separate sexual acts with eight Hong Kong female actresses. All the stars involved in the photos scandal were forced to suspend their careers.

A Hong Kong computer technician was responsible to copy pictures from Chen’s laptop and was given 8 1/2 months prison sentence for that criminal act.
