Masters of the Universe star Dolph Lundgren is now the Ambassador for Marbella as announced by the Town hall Mayor on Tuesday. The 56-year-old action film hero is also in talks for CONAN movie, the latest version. Dolph Lundgren already considers Marbella a very special place for him and the family.

A Swedish actor and model who also used to be a director seems to be pretty these days while showing at multiple projects simultaneously. Dolph Lundgren (born Hans Lundgren) who has just been announced the Marbella Ambassador is also busy in ongoing negotiations for a lead role in ‘Conan.’

Dolph Lundgren has been officially appointed as the new Ambassador for Marbella and the same was announced by the Town hall on Tuesday. He would be accompanied by Alejandro Blanco, the President of the Spanish Olympic Committee. The ‘Russian Boxer Ivan Drago’ fame from “Rocky IV” a Hollywood Blockbuster, is rated among the high profile residents of Marbella vicinity and the city happens to be his favorite place too for Dolph.

The city mayor acknowledged his decision of choosing Marbella to spend life alongside his family and stated that it would be a pleasure for the people of Marbella city to accommodate them.

‘Conan’ director Marcus Nispel is of the opinion that it would be more appropriate if the title role is performed by someone ‘unknown.’ However, unavailability of the California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has created an opportunity for Dolph Lundgren to fit in the casting.

While talking to MTV News during promotion of his future hit “Command Performance,” the actor mentioned his ongoing talk with the movie team. “I’ve talked to them about it,” stated the He-man. Therefore, the casting is likely to be finalized but not before sometimes in 2010. The fans may see their favorite action hero in action when the final decision comes.
