An American woman, Connie Hamzy who was born January 9, 1953, is most famous as groupie and claims of having sexed with a number of rock musicians. She is from Little Rock, Arkansas, and had received enough attention after claiming that she was not only propositioned by Arkansas’ governor, but also by Bill Clinton.

‘We’re an American Band’ is a song by ‘Grand Funk Railroad’ in which she has been mentioned as something like “Sweet, sweet Connie.” Connie Hamzy claims to have oral sexed with a number of different band members traveled through Little Rock. Cosmopolitan magazine published a profile of Connie Hamzy detailing about her alleged groupie escapades in the year 1974.

She also wrote an article for Penthouse magazine on tell-all basis in the year 1992. Up all, she published a memoir titled as “Rock Groupie: The Intimate Adventures of ‘Sweet Connie’ from Little Rock” in the year 1995. She was also featured in an episode of Insomniac with Dave Attell on Little Rock.
