A young girl Amber Hagerman was killed after her abduction on January 13, 1996. The innocent ‘Amber Hagerman’ was born on November 25, 1986 in Arlington, Texas. She was kidnapped when she was riding her bike near the home of her grandparents, and was murdered on January 15, 1996. The system ‘AMBER Alert’ was created after her murder.

Jimmie Kevil was the man who witnessed the kidnapping of Amber Hagerman. Kevil described to police that a black pickup truck driver appeared at the place where Amber Hagerman was playing. He pulled Amber off her bike and dragged her into the pickup truck and quickly drove away.

Amber’s grandfather, Jimmy Whitson drove his vehicle to search his child after hearing about her abduction story. Amber was the second daughter of her family who was abducted.

The murder of Amber Hagerman remained unsolved and the criminal was not arrested.
